Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

FORGE ("we", "us", "our") is a habit coaching application operated by Austin Dickens. You can reach us at the contact information below. FORGE is accessible at forgehabits.net.

2. What information we collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:

• Phone number — used to verify your identity and send daily habit check-in messages via SMS.
• Habits — the habit names and categories you set during onboarding.
• Check-in responses — your YES/NO replies and any text you send to the coaching bot.
• Check-in timestamps — when you respond to check-ins, used to calculate streaks.
• Subscription status — whether you are on the free or Pro plan.
• Coach preferences — your chosen check-in time and coach style.

We do not collect your name, email address, location, or any payment card information. Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe.

3. How we use your information

• To send your daily SMS habit check-ins via Twilio
• To generate personalized AI coaching responses via Anthropic's Claude API
• To calculate and display your habit streaks and progress
• To verify your identity when you sign in
• To process subscription payments via Stripe

4. Who we share your information with

We use the following third-party services to operate FORGE. Each has their own privacy policy:

• Twilio — sends and receives SMS messages. Your phone number is shared with Twilio to deliver messages. Twilio Privacy Policy
• Anthropic — generates AI coaching responses. Your habit data and message content is processed by Anthropic's Claude API. Anthropic Privacy Policy
• Supabase — stores your data in a secure PostgreSQL database. Supabase Privacy Policy
• Stripe — processes subscription and donation payments. We never see your card details. Stripe Privacy Policy
• Railway — hosts the backend server. Railway Privacy Policy

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any other third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

Mobile opt-in data and consent will never be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information collected through our SMS program is used solely to deliver the FORGE habit coaching service and will not be sold or shared with any third party.

5. SMS messaging

By signing up for FORGE, you consent to receive recurring automated SMS messages from us. Message frequency varies — typically one message per day plus occasional replies. Message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier plan.

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. To get help, reply HELP. After opting out, you will not receive further messages unless you re-subscribe at forgehabits.net.

6. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion of your account, we will permanently delete all your personal data within 30 days. To request deletion, text DELETE to your FORGE number or contact us directly.

7. Data security

Your data is stored in a secure database hosted by Supabase. We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all data transmission. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

8. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP

9. Children's privacy

FORGE is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify active users of significant changes via SMS. Continued use of FORGE after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
