By accessing or using FORGE at forgehabits.net ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
FORGE is an AI-powered habit coaching service that delivers daily SMS check-ins and coaching responses to help users build and maintain habits. The Service is operated by Austin Dickens ("we", "us", "our").
By providing your phone number and completing verification, you expressly consent to receive recurring automated SMS text messages from FORGE, including:
Message frequency: Approximately 1–3 messages per day depending on your activity.
Message and data rates may apply based on your carrier plan.
To opt out: Reply STOP to any message at any time. You will receive a confirmation and no further messages will be sent.
For help: Reply HELP to any message or visit forgehabits.net.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use FORGE. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. Users under 18 should have parental consent.
Your account is identified by your phone number. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your verification codes and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

FORGE offers a free tier and a Pro subscription at $5.00 per month. Subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel at any time — cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period and you retain Pro access until then.
One-time donations are non-refundable. Subscription charges are non-refundable except where required by law.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to active subscribers.
The free tier is limited to 2 active habits and access to 3 coach styles. We reserve the right to modify free tier limits at any time with reasonable notice.
FORGE uses artificial intelligence (Anthropic's Claude) to generate coaching responses. These responses are for informational and motivational purposes only and do not constitute professional medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice. Always consult a qualified professional for serious health or mental health concerns.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI coaching responses will be accurate or appropriate for your specific situation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FORGE shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violations of these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by replying STOP to opt out of messages and contacting us to delete your data.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify active users of material changes via SMS. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
